After spending a weekend with the client, studying local architecture, visiting the site, meeting the builder, and discussing construction technique, we developed a plan. The program called for a Bunk Room, and 4 Master Bedroom suites. Construction is reinforced concrete block, poured concrete floors, and wood-framed roof with clay tile roofing. The geometry of the plan with two blocks skewed apart at the entrance is derived from the lot configuration and views of the Pacific. (Shown under construction)
